In what order should I arrange my TNEA choices?

One rule above all: order by genuine preference, top to bottom — the allotment engine gives you the first choice on your list your rank can reach, and never looks further down. So the structure anna recommends:

• Top of list — reach: colleges you'd love, even if last year's closing cutoffs sit above your mark. Costs nothing to try.
• Middle — target: colleges whose multi-year closing cutoffs bracket your mark. This is where you'll most likely land, so order this zone extra carefully.
• Bottom — safe: colleges that closed comfortably below your cutoff, but only ones you'd truly join.
